A majestic 15-day comprehensive expedition covering the ancient marvels of Cairo, the nature of Fayoum, majestic Nile cruising from Aswan to Luxor, and the Mediterranean splendor of Alexandria.

Day 01
CAIRO City
Arrival
Arrival at Cairo International Airport, where the Luxora Egypt Representative will assist you with customs clearance, luggage and airport procedure through the MEET AND ASSIST SERVICES.
Transfer
Transfer in modern air-conditioned van to your deluxe 5-star hotel for check-in. Depending on the arrival time, we could arrange some evening activities.
Khan el-Khalili & Islamic Quarter
The Evening, visit Bab El Fotouh, to start an amazing walk through the ancient Islamic quarter. Witness the narrow streets, and bustling road-side shops and "wekalas". Walk down Al Moez Street until you reach Beit El Seheimi.
Welcome Dinner
Enjoy a 5-star casual dinner of traditional oriental dishes at the Arabian-style Neguib Mahfouz Restaurant, right in the heart of the 14th-century Khan El-Khalili Bazaar.

Day 02
Giza & Saqqara
Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx
After breakfast, your Egyptologist will escort you to an unforgettable tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Solar Boat Museum
Visit the incredible Solar Boat Museum beside the Great Pyramid of Cheops, considered one of the most important archaeological finds in Egypt.
Visit Saqqara (Step Pyramid)
Djoser’s Step Pyramid in Saqqara is one of Egypt’s most iconic monuments, revolutionizing stone architecture.
Lunch
Lunch today will be an a-la-carte lunch at a local restaurant, overlooking the Pyramids.
Camel Ride
Opportunity to mount your individual camel for a short ride across the sands of Giza.

Day 03
Museums & Civilization
Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, your Egyptologist will escort you to an unforgettable tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum, checking out the constructions and restorations.
Lunch
Lunch that day will be at a local restaurant, with a great view of the Great Pyramids.
National Museum of Egyptian Civilization
In the early evening, your Egyptologist will escort you on a tour of 7,000 years of Egyptian history, which includes famous golden treasures.
Mummies Room
You will have the chance to go inside the fabulous "Mummies Room", where the mummies of the Royal kings, queens and Pharaohs are kept in state.

Day 04
Fayoum Day Trip
Travel to Fayoum
After breakfast, travel to Fayoum (2 hrs drive).
Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls
Your Egyptologist will escort you to an unforgettable tour of the waterfalls in Wadi el-Rayan, considered the largest waterfalls in Egypt, distinguished by its springs and cascades.
Tunis Village
Visit the artisan Tunis Village, a center for eco-tourism to explore the local pottery industry and craftwork.
Lunch & Return
Lunch at a local restaurant in Fayoum, followed by a return to Cairo.

Day 05
Islamic & Coptic Cairo
Citadel of Saladin
After breakfast, your Egyptologist will escort you to the Citadel of Sultan Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, one of the most iconic monuments in Islamic Cairo with panoramic views.
Mosque of Muhammad Ali
Visit the Alabaster Mosque inside the Citadel, its twin minarets are the highest in all of Egypt.
Lunch
Lunch today will be an a-la-carte lunch at a local restaurant, overlooking the Pyramids.
Hanging Church
Visit the Hanging Church, built over the ruins of Old Cairo’s Roman fort, exploring its marble columns and decorated timber-roofed court.

Day 06
Fly to Aswan & Optional Abu Simbel
Flight to Aswan
After check-out, transfer to the Domestic Airport for your flight to Aswan.
Optional Abu Simbel Excursion
Take an optional excursion by air to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, famed as the most impressive monuments remaining of Ancient Egypt in modern times.
Felucca Ride & Dinner
Check-in to your hotel, have lunch, and end your day on a legendary felucca sailboat ride down the Nile enjoying a sparkling wine during sunset. Dinner and overnight.

Day 07
Aswan / Nubian Village
Philae Temple
After breakfast, check-out and enjoy a visit to the temple of Isis, located on the island of Philae, dedicated to the goddess of love and passion.
Nubian Village
Check-in to your cruise and have lunch on-board. Afterwards, explore the Nubian village and get connected to the local culture.

Day 08
Kom Ombo & Edfu
Temple of Kom Ombo
Sail down the Nile and visit the temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile and the falcon gods. Stop at the Crocodile Mummification Museum.
Temple of Horus
After lunch onboard the cruise ship, visit the temple of Horus at Edfu, the most intact temple from the ancient world.

Day 09
Luxor West Bank
Valley of the Kings
Visit the Valley of the Kings, hidden behind the mountains on the west bank of the Nile, including the tomb of King Tutankhamun and the tomb of Ramses VI.
Hatshepsut & Colossi of Memnon
Visit the temple of Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh who dressed and ruled like a king. Have a photo stop by the huge Colossi of Memnon.

Day 10
Luxor East Bank
Karnak Temple
Check-out after breakfast and proceed to the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs, featuring the great "Hypostyle Hall".
Luxor Temple
Guide on a tour of the East Bank of Luxor, starting with the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor dedicated to the god Amun.
Transfer to Hotel
Transfer in modern air-conditioned van to check-in to your boutique hotel in Luxor.

Day 11
Flight Back to Cairo
Flight to Cairo
Transfer in modern air-conditioned van to Luxor Domestic Airport for your flight to Cairo.
Arrival in Cairo
Arrival at Cairo domestic airport, where the Luxora Egypt Representative will meet and assist you.
Hotel Check-in
Transfer in modern air-conditioned van to your deluxe 5-star hotel in Cairo, for check-in and overnight.

Day 12
Travel to Alexandria
Drive to Alexandria
Depart with breakfast boxes by air-conditioned coach along the desert highway to the city of Alexandria, "Ancient Queen of the Mediterranean".
Bibliotheca Alexandrina
Meet with the Egyptologist for a tour of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a major library and cultural center on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea.
Lunch & Walk
Lunch at a traditional restaurant overlooking the beach, followed by a walk on the Corniche before checking in at your hotel.

Day 13
Alexandria Highlights
Citadel of Qaitbay
Tour the Citadel of Qaitbay, located at the eastern tip of the Pharos Peninsula, facing the eastern side.
Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa
Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa which date from the second century A.D. and are unique for their mixture of Egyptian and Greco-Roman decorations.
Roman Amphitheater
After lunch overlooking the beach, visit the only Roman amphitheater in Egypt, whose terraces are extremely well preserved.

Day 14
Return to Cairo
Transfer to Cairo Airport Hotel
The Luxora Egypt representative will escort you to Cairo Domestic Airport and transfer you to your Cairo Airport Hotel, for check-in & overnight.
Day 15
Departure
Transfer to Airport
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and checkout. The Luxora Egypt representative will escort you to the International Airport for your departure flight.
